Georgetown Wave of Light – In Person Event

October 15, 2021 @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

We invite you to join a candle lighting ceremony hosted by a Halton Hills in Peterborough for International Pregnancy and Infant Loss on Friday, October 15th, 2021.

On October 15th, 2021 we remember all those babies born sleeping, those we’ve carried but never met, those we’ve held but could not take home, and the ones that came home but could not stay.

The Halton Hills Pregnancy and Infant Loss Group invite you to our first annual Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Whether you’re new or years into your journey of love and loss or want to show your support to someone who is, everyone is welcome. We will have families sharing their stories, information for support services, and acts of remembrance to take part in. Come and meet other families going through a similar heartbreaking loss or quietly reflect on your own, and just know you’re not alone.

Registration will begin at 6:30pm, followed by a candle lighting and speakers at 7pm.

More information on the Halton Hills Pregnancy and Infant Loss Group will be available at the event and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/256761829273968/?ref=share
