Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network: Community of Practice

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network is committed to supporting health and service professionals to provide skilled and compassionate bereavement care.  We heard you when you asked for more information and support.  Please join us to form a Community of Practice where we can all connect with one another to share our ideas, triumphs, and struggles.

The monthly Community of Practice is meant to be interactive, informative, and supportive.  We are seeking representation from across Ontario and will be monitoring registration to allow for this.  The number of participants may be limited, so please only register if you are able to commit to attending.  If you have more than one person from your organization that would like to participate, we ask that you only have 1 person register per session.

Sue Hermann

Over the past 30 years Sue has worked in the Women & Babies Program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.  In her current role as Advanced Practice Nurse her focus is on maternal and newborn care and breastfeeding support for both inpatients and outpatients. She also has special interest in meeting with patients antenatally who have experienced a pregnancy/neonatal loss to provide them with anticipatory guidance about infant feeding and postpartum care. Sue is the administrative lead for the Breastfeeding Clinic.  She holds a cross-appointment with the University of Toronto.
