Peterborough: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, Wave Of Light Ceremony

Overview:
Join us at Rogers Cove in Peterborough for an International Wave Of Light ceremony to honour the babies we have lost though miscarriage, stillbirth, medical termination and infant death. Please bring a candle (battery operated seem to work best in October weather) to light at 7pm EST. Families participate in every time zone across the world at 7pm local time, creating a 24 hour Wave Of Light around the globe. There is no fee to attend and there is nothing to sell. Family, friends & children are all welcome. We ask that companion animals be left at home.
The mayor will be attending to proclaim October 15 as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.
