Port Hope – Northumberland’s 7th Annual Walk To Remember

October 14, 2018 @ 11:45 AM - 2:30 PM

Please join us for our 7th Annual, Walk To Remember.

11:45 am – gather at Port Hope Memorial Park bandshell for free registration.

12:30 pm – Walk begins

Globally, October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss month and October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day. We gather in October to remember those lost, support those who have lost, smile, love and keep the memories alive.

After opening ceremonies, we will have a short walk (1.1 km TOTAL), to the Port Hope East Beach. We will read the names of our loved ones, release eco friendly balloons and watch a talented group of dancers perform a touching song for us.

We will then have lunch *** details to follow for location ******

The event is run solely on donations and any donation is appreciated! We do have a “wish list” if you wish to donate. Our wish is to always have money left over to donate memory boxes to the hospital.

All are welcome to attend this free event to remember lost loved one. Although the day is based around Pregnancy and Infant loss, any loss of a loved one, we would love to help you remember them.

This is a rain or shine event, please come prepared.

Don’t forget about our banner and signs, that you can have your loved ones name placed on for a minimal cost.

We also have our Book Of Remembrance, that your loved ones name can be placed permanently in. I hire a calligraphist to complete their name.

Please join to remember!
