Toronto: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day, Wave Of Light Ceremony

Overview:

Join us at Roundhouse Park for an International Wave Of Light ceremony to honour the babies we have lost though miscarriage, stillbirth, medical termination and infant death. Please bring a candle (battery operated seem to work best in October weather) to light at 7pm EST. Families participate in every time zone across the world at 7pm local time, creating a 24 hour Wave Of Light around the globe. We will gather at 6:45pm to give every person the opportunity to speak their baby’s (babies) name(s) or to simply say they are there to honour the baby they lost. There is no fee to attend and there is nothing to sell. Paid parking is available close by, and the park can also be accessed using TTC and GO transit.  Family, friends & children are all welcome.
