PAIL Network welcomes you to join us for “Hope for the Holidays,” on Friday December 10th, 2021 @ 7:30pm, a candle lighting event where families can join together to share how they remember their babies during the holiday season, and throughout the year.
This time of the year can feel lonely for families as they grieve. Sometimes it may be difficult to enjoy the usual traditions with friends and family, while others around us seem happy. We can come together as a community to share with one another and offer comfort and ideas for self-care during our healing journey. Not everyone celebrates during the winter holiday season; however, we welcome everyone to join us during the ceremony, share their baby name’s and how they remember their baby’s all year round.
When we share, we provide hope and a sense of comfort that can help with coping with the loss of our babies. Please use the survey link below to submit your baby names and personal responses about how you remember your loss during the holidays or all year round.
The ceremony will consist of a Land Acknowledgement, Poem Reading, Music, Candle Lighting, Remembering our Babies, and the Reading of the Baby Names.
After the ceremony, members will have the opportunity to speak if they would like to share a few words with the group. We welcome you to use your video during this time.
Please email Samantha West at samantha.west@sunnybrook.ca if you have any questions about the event.
We hope you will join us virtually this December 10th, 2021.
