Compassionate Care Workshop – September 17, 2021 – South Bruce Grey Health Centre

FreeDescription: This event is a FREE virtual Compassionate Care Workshop hosted by the South Bruce Grey Health Centre.
The workshop runs from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm with a 1-hour break from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.
Participants leave with practical skills, tools and techniques to support bereaved parents and families. The workshop covers many topics including statistics, attachment, grief, memory making, what to say/what not to say, pregnancy after loss, caring for the caregiver, and family-centred care. We also invite a panel of people who have had a lived experience of loss answer questions and also share what it means to receive compassionate care.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss (PAIL) Network offers FREE Compassionate Care Workshops to health and service professionals who are either employed by a government funded organization or who are members of a licensed, regulated profession.
