Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network is proud to host a Butterfly Release and Family Picnic in London, Ontario for families who have suffered the loss of their pregnancy or their baby.
The Butterfly Release is an uplifting remembrance ~ It is a time for families to reflect and honour their baby’s life, no matter how short, in the company of friends and family. Our Butterfly Release and Family Picnic is uniquely positioned to support the invisible mourners of infant loss; the children, the grandparents, and any other friends and family members who were touched by this tragic loss. This event is one of the ways PAIL Network seeks to provide hope and enlightenment to help families incorporate their loss into their lives.
PAIL Network will be hosting a complimentary BBQ. Bring your picnic basket filled with your favourites, a blanket and lawn chairs so that you have everything you need to enjoy a picnic lunch as a family. There will be a short ceremony, including a lovely butterfly release, as well as a variety of activities available for children and families, including an area for quiet reflection.
PAIL Network is pleased to offer a Children’s Memorial Activity, and will have the hard copy book “Wherever you go, my love will find you” by Nancy Tillman available for purchase of $15 at the event as a keepsake from the activity.
Families will also have the opportunity to add their baby’s name to the Wings of Comfort butterfly memorial display.
