As part of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network’s long-term vision, we are hosting our first biennial educational conference at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites in Richmond Hill on Thursday, September 21 – Friday, September 22, 2023.
This conference will be of great significance for the pregnancy and infant loss community as it aims to bring together health care professionals and bereaved families with a shared goal: to improve the quality of compassionate and skilled care and support for individuals and families who experience a pregnancy loss or infant death.
The conference will welcome professionals and bereaved families from across Canada and abroad, and will highlight key considerations for providing exceptional bereavement care and support:
The Connected in Care Conference will have in-person and virtual registration options.
Folks who sign up to attend in-person will have complete access to all key note speakers, break-out sessions, exhibitors and vendors, and opportunities to socialize and connect with other attendees. Breakfast, Lunch and snacks are included on Thursday and Friday, and appetizers will be provided during the Thursday night social (full schedule TBD). Dinner is not included on either day.
Virtual attendees will have access to key note speakers and select breakout sessions during the live-streamed times. Only some sessions will be recorded and available following the conference in an effort to keep the learning environment psychologically safe.
